Pleased to report a bit more progress today! This morning Annie was off her ventilator for 45 min at a time. Emma, the nurse caring for her, said that she had earlier been able to indicate what was painful, and what wasn't, by nodding her head. Emma held the phone up to Annie's ear and I told her how Skye was going and Skye conveniently made some pleasurable moaning noises for her when I was rubbing her tummy. Emma said that Annie got all excited and wanted to hold the phone.
