Annie was back in theatre again today for yet another washout, check up and dressing change. There appear to be no new infections according to today's nurse. The fevers are still up and down though. Yesterday's report was that her upper limbs seemed a bit stronger than they were last week and that her heart, lungs and blood pressure are doing fine. All in all, not much change to report I'm afraid. They keep telling me that it will be only very very slow progress.
On the plus side, the ventilator has left the room and Annie is breathing on her own except for a bit of extra oxygen when she tires.
