Yup, I talked to Annie on Penny's mobile on Saturday afternoon. It was just great to hear her voice. We talked about Danni and Skye, mostly, then Annie grew tired after 4-5 minutes. Penny and her daughter, Monica, kindly went in and sorted through some of Annie's stuff that had been in storage at the hospital.
I knew Annie had been sick and close to "the edge" more than once, but realised this morning how lucky she is. Did you see the article in the news about the Brazilian model who had her feet and hands amputated because of a superbug? She died this morning from the very same Pseudonomas bug that Annie has had... and is still battling.
