Beautiful Beechworth

Next stop, still in North East Victoria, was the historic gold mining town of Beechworth, with many well preserved 19th century buildings.

Camping beside Lake Sambell it's only a short walk or bike ride into town through natural bushland interspersed with interesting artworks, like "Masonry Blades"

and the "Lake Labyrinth"
