I'm Back!

Well who'd have thought it would have been 8 months between blog entries for me? Yesterday I was finally discharged from hospital and have come to stay at Laurie's for a bit. Laurie of course has been my lifesaver over the entire 8 months and there's no way I can thank her enough for all she's done.

I'd like to thank everyone for all their good wishes, cards etc, it was a tremendous support and even though I wasn't really with it in the early days I enjoyed and found great comfort in re-reading cards many times over.

Thanks must also go to all the people who have looked after Danni, Mae Streeet Respite House, Novas and Northern Disability Services, all in Numurkah - you are all Stars!

And of course thanks to the doctors and nurses, hospital chaplains and physiotherapists at both St Vincents and Bairnsdale, again words can't express my thanks.

Skye is happy to be back in my bed again (so am I)
