Here at Lakeside Farm my faithful companion is Baloo (because she looks like Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book bear with her two-tone colouring) also known as Lulu, the kelpie who is here enjoying a holiday on the farm whilst her family are camping at Busselton in South Western WA.
Baloo would really like to be a
working dog like her uncles Spike and Nipper but unfortunately doesn't know one end of a sheep from the other. She is however very good at fetching sticks and knows that she's not allowed to chase any other animal or bird EXCEPT for those pesky grey and pink galahs which she relishes chasing from HER turf.
